Dr Judy Hyslop
Qualifications: MBBCh (Wits), DCH (SA), Dip PEC (SA), MSc(Med) Child Health, (Neurodevelopment)
Dr Judy Hyslop graduated from Wits Medical School and, following her internship worked as a medical officer in paediatrics—initially in the Baragwanath ICU and later in children’s outpatients. During this period, she was actively involved in the Developmental Clinic and went on to study for a Neurodevelopmental MSc at Wits. Since 2005, she has served as a medical officer in private practice, focusing on developmental medicine.
Her passion for this field deepened when her son encountered challenges at school. Dr. Hyslop believes every child is unique and special, with individual strengths and abilities that deserve support and nurturing.
